23 January 2024 - UTB received a delegation from Konsortium Universiti Universitas Borneo (KUUB) led by the Chairperson, Yang Mulia Professor Dr. Shahrul Razid Sarbini, Campus Director of Universiti Putra Malaysia in Bintulu Sarawak. Together with him were Yang Mulia Noor Hakim bin Ahmad, Yang Mulia Fakhzan Buang, Yang Mulia Ts. Dr Suhaili Mustafa, Yang Mulia Hajjah Siti Rajanah binti Abdul Aziz, and Yang Mulia Mohamad Syukri bin Mohamad Adnan.

The delegation was welcomed by Yang Mulia Datin Paduka Professor Dr Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, Vice-Chancellor of UTB, the Deputy Chairperson of KUUB. Also present were the Assistant Vice-Chancellors, Deans, Registrar’s Office, Personnel, and Corporate Communications Office.

The visit was aimed at discussing upcoming activities. KUUB is an alliance of universities in Borneo to enhance commitment and strategic partnership between public and government-owned universities in Borneo for Education, Innovation, Community and Talent Development.

The KUUB delegates were treated to a tour of the campus.
