SUCCESS: Two-panel members and a moderator made the Agri Clinic@UPMKB Knowledge Transfer Programme Online Forum a success yesterday.

BINTULU: Taman Pertanian Universiti (TPU) Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Campus (UPMKB) has organised the Agri Clinic@UPMKB Knowledge Transfer Program Forum which covered the topic ‘Management and Control of Coccidiosis and Ascariasis Diseases’ successfully online yesterday.

The forum which took place from 9 am to 11 am invited two-panel members, namely UPMKB TPU Senior Agriculture Officer Dr Carlina Freddie Simol @ Rachellynna and Dr Zaidi Suif and the moderator was TPU Nalong Buda Division Head.

The forum explored the scenario of producing quality chickens that are acceptable to the market and learned about the various diseases that attack chickens.

Among them are coccidiosis and worms in chickens is a disease that attacks the poultry industry, therefore knowing this disease can be used by poultry farmers as the first step of prevention or cure in the process of raising chickens.
