BINTULU: Recently, the Student Counselling, Welfare and Development Section (SKKP), Student Affairs Division has organised a BeST 2.0 2019 Workshop attended by UPMKB Diploma and Diploma students.
The workshop was held at the Conference Hall of UPMKB for 2 days and 1 night. It emphasised on the personalities of the students that’s governing their academic achievement. Participants learned about the importance of building goals using the SAMIC approach through Choice Theory pioneered by William Glasser, a Western psychologist.
The on-campus programme was assisted by members of the Peer Mentoring Group (PRS) and a lecture was presented by Mr. Mohammad Saufi bin Mohammad Ramli, a lecturer from the Department of Science and Technology, Faculty of Agriculture and Food Science and Mrs. Hairunisah binti Abdul Rahman, a Psychology Officer.
