Congratulations to all 100 Integrity Champion students comprised of UPMKB’s Diploma Agricultural Engineering students and Diploma Preparatory Science students for successfully completed the Enhancing Integrity Project (EIP) programme on September 27-29, 2019. The role of "Integrity Champion" is to oversee the achievement of objectives in increasing commitment to integrity, instilling awareness about integrity, and educating the community on maintaining integrity.
The EIP programme, entitled Syioknyer Integrity: Integrity as Core for Environmental Sustainability, was a collaborative effort between the Department of Science, Technology and Engineering Staff Welfare Club (KESATEK) and the State Integrity and Ombudsman Unit (UNION) of the Chief Minister's Department of Sarawak and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Academy (MACA). The activities carried out at UPMKB and Kampung Assyakirin were an honorary visit to the Director of UPMKB, "Welcoming Integrity Night" (WIN), "Integrity Race", People’s Sports, Integrity and Environment Forum, Plogging and Planting. All of these activities were supervised by 40 Certified Integrity Officers (CeIO) Series 23 Bil. 3/2019 from various government agencies and statutory bodies of the Sarawak State Government. EIP is one of the programmes that communities and campus students need to implement in order to qualify for CeIO.
