B) The Post-Colonial Generation: The Kelabits’ Journey through Education
Introduction:
The purpose of this on-going research is to study the sociocultural dimensions of teaching and learning during post-colonial times. Information is gathered from a generation of Kelabit students who had attended school in the late 1950s to early 1960s. During this post-colonial period, the students were taught by teachers from the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Canada, and Australia. The study seeks to discover factors that had positively impacted the lives of the students then and contributed to the successes in their lives today.
