C) Determination of Boron, Silicon, and Zinc Efficiency in Enhancing Anatomical Structures and Nutrients Composition in Banana
Introduction:
Banana production decline overtime in Malaysia even the Self-Sufficiency Ratio (SSR) in 2015 has achieved 100%. The reason caused by high cost to manage and improper crop management have leads to reduce yield and lower bunch weight. Limiting micronutrient such as boron, silicon and zinc contributed to delaying inflorescence period, thus, affect yields. To overcome this problem, a single and combination of the effect on the different concentration of boron, silicon and zinc will test on searching the best concentration affecting yield and bunch weight. This project was funded by MOHE under the FRGS research grant number is 5540334.
