In conjunction with breast cancer awareness month celebrated in October every year, Columbia Asia Hospital Bintulu has organized a breast cancer awareness program, namely Pink October Charity Run 2023 in collaboration with the Bintulu Division Health Office and Clinic and Sarawak Breast Cancer Support Group (SBCSG).

 

Inaugurated by Dr. Mark Jeevan and Datin Juriah binti Sulehan as President of Sarawak Breast Cancer Support Group (SBCSG) followed by releasing the participants at 6.30 am..

 

In the program which was held on October 8, 2023 (Sunday) at Columbia Asia Hospital, the Sri Rajang College, UPMKB has sent a total of 30 students as volunteer services in helping to organize and enliven the Pink October Charity Run 2023 program.

 

In addition to fostering awareness of the early signs of breast cancer in the community, the charity also aims to provide support to SBCSG organizations by donating funds through the profits of the accumulated programs.
