UPMKB LAUNCHES VETERINARY CLINIC FOR PETS

BINTULU: Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Campus (UPMKB) launched the UPMKB Veterinary Clinic at its campus yesterday to provide healthcare services for cats, dogs and other pets in the division.
 
The opening and launching of the clinic was officiated by UPMKB Director Professor Dr Shahrul Razid Sarbini, witnessed by the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Science and Forestry UPMKB Dr Zamri Rosli.

Also present were the campus and faculty management, members of the Department of Animal Science and Fisheries, students of the Diploma in Animal Health and Livestock (DKHP) UPMKB.

UPMKB Senior Assistant Information Technology Officer Roslan Ismail said a wide range of services are provided at UPMKB Veterinary Clinic for pets. 

. "Among the services are consultation, general health screening, vaccination, prevention and treatment, minor surgery (by appointment) and irrigating or driving (by appointment)," he said in a statement here yesterday.

He added that the clinic operates Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm.
