Putra Agricultural Centre (PAC), Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Sarawak Campus (UPMKB) has organised a 2-day Technical Course on the Production of Giant Freshwater Prawn Seeds (Macrobrachium rosenbergii) on 23 July 2022 and 24 July 2022 (Saturday and Sunday), from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm. The course was conducted at the 2B UPMKB Central Lecture Hall (Theory) and Hatchery and Fishpond Unit (Practical) from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.

The course was attended by 43 participants not only from Sarawak, but also from Peninsular Malaysia (Kedah and Penang) as well as Korean citizens working in Bintulu, Sarawak. Participants from Sarawak covered various districts such as Bintulu, Bekenu, Marudi, Miri, Baram, Belaga, Song, Dalat, Mukah, Sarikei, Bintangor, Betong, Kanowit and Kuching.
