BINTULU, 29 October- 15 students of Sekolah Kebangsaan Beradek, Kuching aged between nine and 12 years old are excited and excited to participate in the 7s rugby competition under 12 years old organised by Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Sarawak Campus (UPMKB).

The 7s rugby match of the men under 12 category is scheduled to start tomorrow and a total of nine teams join this category.

Senior Assistant Co-curriculum of SK Beradek, Kuching, Shahrizal Shaharudin said his pupil team was enthusiastic when they saw the rugby 7s match between secondary school and university today.

"I brought the early students to the field today to give them exposure and learning to see high school and university students playing rugby and these students are having a lot of fun.

"We saw the advertisement of this UPMKB rugby match last September so at that point we were already looking for participants and forming this group," he said.

He added that the group had barely participated in the competition but due to the support from the schoolteachers and the PTA, they were finally here today.

"They also feel good and happy when they reach Bintulu. Our journey from Kuching to Bintulu took a van and took about 10 hours," he said.
