Bintulu, 16 July 2023, was held today at the closing ceremony of the FSPH-GPSB Friendship Sports Programme themed "Sports For Health" which started on 15-16 July 2023 at UPM Bintulu Campus.

The FSPH-GPSB Friendship Games programme is a collaborative strategy between the industry and higher learning institutes to strengthen the bilateral cooperation.

The programme, which starts on July 15, 2023, involves sports such as badminton, ping pong and netball. For the closing program on this day, the culminating event begins with a football match event.

Present at the closing ceremony of the FSPH-GPSB Friendship Games was Dr. Zamri Rosli (Dean of FSPH), Mr. Andy Lau Seng Kee (Head of Operation Malaysia GPSB), Mr. Suwardi Mistor (Head of Operation Oversea GPSB) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Geoffery James Gerusu (Deputy Dean of FSPH Research, Funding and Graduate).

Congratulations to the staff of UPMKB and GPSB who have won for each event. Hopefully, such programmes will foster high sportsmanship and a fit mind and strengthen the relationship between staff. It is hoped that such activities will be able to provide space for recreational activities.
