BINTULU, Nov 1 - The Angklung and Gamelan Cultural Club of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama Miri (Gangsa Kenyalang) enliven the 46th Convocation Ceremony of Universiti Putra Malaysia at Bintulu Campus (UPMKB) session one here today by playing music throughout the pronunciation of the graduands' names.
According to Meor Hajeed Ainuddin, the Bronze Kenyalang escort teacher, his 30 students began to undergo a month's training when UPMKB chose the team to perform in the ceremony.
"I am also proud to be able to highlight the talents of our students in Sarawak as well as in front of the Sultan of Selangor. Thank you UPMKB and this is a valuable experience," he said. -UPM
