RISDA, PPP UPMKB HOLD AGROFOOD PROGRAM

The Rubber Industry Smallholders Development Authority (RISDA) and Putra Agricultural Centre (PPP) of Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Campus (UPMKB) will be conducting the Sarawak State Level RISDA Agrofood Program (JPAMN) for the implementation of the Poultry and Quail Farming Project.

Sarawak RISDA Director Shaharuddin Saberi said the program is an initiative by RISDA to respond to the government's call in the National Agrofood Policy 20212030.

He said it was an effort to reduce reliance on imported goods, instead boosting the country's food industry.
