PREPARING TO DEAL WITH CHALLENGES IN UNIVERSITY STUDIES

BINTULU: University students are reminded to continue to strive for success and to be prepared for various challenges during the university study period.

Director of Universiti Putra Malaysia Campus Bintulu Campus (UPMKB) Professor Dr Shahrul Razid Sarbini said university students need to study hard despite the challenges faced during their stay at the university.

He said they need to keep striving for success because they have taken a step forward in their pursuit of dreams and ambitions.

"New students need to accept this challenge positively," he said at a face-to-face session with the New Students of the 2023/2024 Academic Session (Diploma and Diploma Preparatory Science) UPMKB recently.

He said new students are also advised not to neglect the responsibility and trust given by their parents to learn.

"Inspiration given by parents enables students to overcome all the challenges, pressures and obstacles in their studies better, more mature and successfully," he said.

As students, he said, they should take care of their personality, not turn their backs on their parents and appreciate the services of their parents in various things so as to gain blessings in the pursuit of knowledge.

He said the sacrifice of parents in terms of time, energy, financial resources and patience while caring for their children is a noble sacrifice that should not be forgotten.

He congratulated all the new students for successfully pursuing their studies at UPMKB as one of the best universities in Malaysia.
