NEW STUDENTS ARE URGED TO BUILD THEIR IDENTITY AND PERSONALITY WHILE AT UNIVERSITY

Bintulu, October 4, 2023 - Prof. Dr. Shahrul Razid Sarbini, Campus Director, UPMKB in a Meeting Session with the Director of the New Student Campus in his speech called on new students to make the university not only a place to study, but also take the opportunity to build a superior identity and personality.

To become charismatic students, new students also need to emphasize human skills and need to be more dynamic to adapt to today's increasingly challenging and uncertain environment.

He added that, as an undergraduate, students come to the university with the hopes of both parents. Therefore, students should study hard so as not to disappoint the hopes of both parents who have bothered to send them to university.

He also congratulated all the new students for successfully pursuing their studies at UPMKB which is the only 'Research University' in East Malaysia.

In addition, he also introduced a line-up of UPMKB Management members who were also present to listen and witness the New Student Pledge Ceremony at the Sri Kenyalang Hall, UPMKB which was conducted by video conferencing with UPM Serdang students.
