11 December 2022 - Sunday is currently conducting the Gotong Royong Program in Medan Selera and Student Centre, UPMKB was implemented through the PutraLoVA program and participated by 50 students, staff and stall operators to inculcate the spirit of volunteerism among the students as well as foster the spirit and tolerance of the members involved.

 

The focus of this activity is to implement gotong - royong cleaning, repairing and maintenance of Medan Selera as well as the rooms at UPMKB Student Centre to increase the comfort of customers whether UPMKB staff or outsiders while eating at Medan Selera.

 

In the meantime, the cleaning work also provides comfort to the students while using the facilities available at the Student Centre. This activity has further enhanced the cheerfulness and cleanliness of the Food Court and the Student Centre at UPMKB.

 

In conjunction with the Volunteering Day celebration celebrated on 5 December 2022 at the national and international level, the Centre for Co-curriculum, and Student Development (PKPP) took the initiative to implement a 40-hour non-stop volunteering program around UPM and UPM Bintulu Campus on 10 to 11 December 2022 which aims to be recognized by the Malaysia Book of Records (MBoR).
