Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Sarawak Campus (UPMKB) held the Jalinan Kasih Tani AgriHub@Gedong Program at Kampung Lubuk Punggor, Simunjan on 24-27 November 2022.

 

This project is one of the Commercial Agricultural Transformation Programs being undertaken by the Sarawak Government in the paddy plantation area of Lubok Punggor in collaboration with the expertise of UPM Bintulu Sarawak Campus.

 

Among others, the Jalinan Kasih Tani AgriHub@Gedong program has been successful in building good relations between the university and the local community, collecting scientific samples of agricultural land fertility, identifying rice cultivation problems, academic motivation programs with students of SK Lubok Punggor and sharing the manufacture of compost fertilizer from agricultural waste.
