"INTEGRATION PROGRAM OF MECHANIZATION KNOWLEDGE" STUDENTS DIPLOMA IN AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY ENGINEERING (SEMESTER 5) AT TRACTORS MALAYSIA, BINTULU, SARAWAK.

Bintulu, 3 October 2023: A total of 30 students of the 5th semester Diploma of Agricultural Engineering (DKTP05) session 2023/2024 have held a "Leveling Science Integration Program" at Tractors Malaysia. The program was also attended by six lecturers from the Department of Science and Technology, Faculty of Humanities, Management and Science, namely Dr. Juniza Md Saad as program advisor, Dr. Omar Faruqi Marzuki, Dr. Mohd Hamim Abdul Aziz, Dr. Fatin Hana Naning@Zin, Dr. Alvin Lim Teik Zheng, Dr. Aaliyawani Ezzerin Sinin, and an official from the Putra Agricultural Center, En. Safri Abidin. At as early as 7.15 am, the participants gathered at Dataran C, Kolej Sri Rajang, UPMKB and breakfast was distributed to all participants. The trip to Tractors Malaysia starts at 8.00 am and takes 20 minutes.

Upon arrival at Tractors Malaysia, the participants were well greeted by Mr. Martin Tubai is the son of Angai. The program began with a briefing delivered by Mr. Kenrick Keaton anak Barnabas who is the Regional Safety Officer for East Malaysia and Brunei. The briefing included an introduction to the history of the Malaysian Tractors company under the management of Sime Darby Industrial Sdn. Bhd. Disclosure on various types of machinery industry, in various sectors that have long established themselves around the world was also given.

The next briefing was delivered by En. Wilson Sirau. In this partnership, participants are exposed to various types of machinery industries specializing in the agricultural sector. Among the well-known and frequently used are TD90 tractors, TT4.SS and various other types of machinery produced by New Holland. Partnerships on appropriate implements for agricultural activities were also given.

After the briefing, the session continued with the presentation of certificates and plaques of appreciation to Tractors Malaysia, Bintulu. Participants are given a 30-minute safe break to enjoy the food provided. The next participant is taken to visit the machinery space. Participants were introduced to the variety of types of machinery used in various sectors especially agriculture and learned about the tractor engine system.

Thank you and the highest appreciation is expressed to Tractors Malaysia, Bintulu for providing cooperation and commitment in implementing the Integration Program of Electrical Science. It is hoped that the cooperation between the university and the industry can be continued to develop students.
