Bintulu, 29 August 2023 - The Exploring Nature and Motivational Camp 2023 (ENMC2023) programme was held from 26 to 29 August 2023 around Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Sarawak Campus. This program is a program organized by the Department of Science, MRSM Mukah in collaboration with the Department of Forestry Science, Faculty of Agricultural Science and Forestry UPMKB.

This programme aims to provide exposure on the importance of flora and fauna to the younger generation in the future. A motivational programme was also held specifically for participants who will be sitting for the SPM 2023 examination. Various interesting activities were carried out such as group training, night hunter, ENMC2023 explorace, picnic wild, flying fox, cultural evening, motivational programme and Jom Masuk U briefing.

The programme was officiated by YBhg. Dr. Zamri bin Rosli, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Science and Forestry. In his opening speech, he stated that the ENMC2023 programme can have an impact on the younger generation in the importance of protecting the environment. In addition, such programmes can expose students to apply the knowledge learned in the classroom with the environment in the UPMKB Forestry Park. He also intends that the programme can be continued in the future by involving more participants.

A total of 82 Form 5 students of MRSM Mukah participated in the programme successfully. Hopefully, this programme will attract participants to make UPMKB as the destination of choice for further study in the future.
