Bintulu, 09 July 2023 - Sebauh Agrofest 2023 was held on 08-11 July 2023 at the BDA Sebauh Car Park Area.

 

Various activities in conjunction with the programme were held such as development exhibition, agricultural expansion, promotion and sales, various competitions for visitors, lucky draws and many more.

 

The Opening Ceremony was officiated by Honorable Dato Sri Dr. Stephen Rundi anak Utom, Minister of Food Industry, Commodities and Regional Development Sarawak.

 

The Academic Management and Research Division (BPAP) together with the Putra Agricultural Centre (PPP) representing UPMKB participated in the educational and promotional exhibition and sales of agricultural products in the program.

 

The programme aims to inform the public about the development programmes offered by each agency or department, promote agricultural produce, livestock, fisheries, and downstream products, expose farmers with knowledge and knowledge through technology transfer such as courses and demos, open up business and investment opportunities in the field through the Business Matching concept and attract youths to venture into agriculture.
