The delegation of Curtin University, Miri visited Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Sarawak Campus (UPMKB) on 7 December 2022 to discuss cooperation in the field of research.
The collaboration program between the Institut EkoSains Borneo (IEB), UPMKB and Curtin Universityin the field of research will have great benefits and impacts in the field of research in Sarawak especially. The combination of knowledge, expertise, natural resources and infrastructure facilities enables UPMKB and Curtin University researchers to solve complex scientific questions and develop research. . In addition, the researchers were also exposed to a variety of new perspectives that could attract more funding at the international level.
Also celebrating the delegation from Curtin University were Dr. Tunung Robin (Head of Borneo Ethnic Laboratory, IEB), Dr. Latifah Omar (Head of Borneo Biodiversity Laboratory, IEB), Dr. Tan Toh Hii (Lecturer of the Department of Animal Sciences and Fisheries), IEB Associate Researcher and IEB Research Officer.
