KUCHING, 28 JUNE 2023 - The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Food Industry, Commodities and Regional Development Sarawak (M-FICORD), Mr. Sirai Daha received a courtesy visit from Prof. Dr. Shahrul Razid Sarbini, Director of Universiti Putra Malaysia Campus Bintulu Campus (UPMKB).
During the meeting, several matters were discussed on the cooperation and role of UPMKB to M-FICORD especially in the field of research in achieving agricultural sustainability.
The 2nd series of Congress on Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security (COSAFS2024) which is expected to be held in Kuching, Sarawak from 18 to 21 September 2024 was also discussed.
Also present were Mr. David Branch Ambor, Chief Assistant Secretary of Agriculture and Agrofood Industry Section M-FICORD and Ts. Dr. Suhaili Mustafa, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Animal Science and Fisheries, Faculty of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences, UPMKB.
