The Faculty of Agricultural Science and Forestry (FSPH), UPMKB received a visit from Bintulu Port Authority (BPA) and Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) on 7 June 2023. The delegation from BPA was joined by Mrs. Zuraidah Mohd Rais (Safety, Health & Environment Manager), Mrs. Nur Rashiqah Suhaili, Mr. Jonathan Nolan and Mrs. Zailina Sapuan. While the delegation from SFC consists of Mr. Louis Velda Dominic Salon (Warden Park), Mr. Abdul Ghani Suhaili, Mr. Francis Embak, and Mrs. Perry Panting.

This visit consists of several agendas namely discussion on the creation of wildlife conservation areas in BPA, collection of wildlife data around Bintulu, UPMKB student industrial training placement initiatives in BPA and SFC agencies as well as the application of SDG elements in the operation and implementation of projects.

Also present to welcome the BPA and SFC delegates to FSPH were Dr. Zamri Rosli (Dean of FSPH), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Noorasmah Saupi (Deputy Dean of Academic and Student Affairs), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Juriah Kamaludeen (Head of Department of Animal Science and Fisheries), Dr. Zakry Fitri Ab. Aziz (Head of Department of Crop Science), Dr. Norul Izani Md. Allwi (Head of Forestry Science Department) and Mr. Dexter Elvin Dancing (Assistant Registrar of FSPH).
