BINTULU, March 27 - Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Campus (UPMKB) provides iftar meals to students at UPMKB Islamic Centre every day during Ramadan.

 

Head of Academic Management and Research Division, UPMKB, Sudirman Asmadi said the breaking of fast was attended by 200 students as well as involving students as committee members to help prepare for the breaking of fast.

 

"This will directly strengthen the relationship between students and administrators at UPMKB," he said.

 

Chairman of UPMKB Islamic Centre, Abdul Halim Abdul Kadir said the breaking of fast was contributed by the public and individuals as well as the trust fund of the UPMKB Islamic Centre.

 

"I would also like to thank the contributors for the success of this program and to be enjoyed by students in need," he said.

 

Meanwhile, UPMKB also organized various interesting activities during Ramadan for the campus community such as tarawih prayer, tadarus Al-Quran, tazkirah Ramadan every sunnah tarawih along with invitation talks, bubur lambuk activities and khatam (completing) Al-Quran.
