Bintulu, 20 August 2022 ~ Student Affairs Division in collaboration with the Student Representative Council Session 2021/2022 and UPM International Student Association (UPMISA) has organised the BHEP@Bintulu Tour programme on 17 – 20 August 2022. This programme aims to provide an opportunity for student leaders to jointly strengthen the relationship between the two Serdang and Bintulu campuses. The visit was also graced by the presence of the Director of UPMKB Campus, Prof. Dr. Shahrul Razid Sarbini who welcomed us here.

Various fillings were planned and implemented starting on the first day of the "Ice Breaking – Suai Kenal" session which was conducted by the MPP. This slot provides a wide range of perceptions among the Diploma students as they have just set foot in the tower of knowledge. The activities that were held had an impact on them and managed to provide positive input for the students.

In addition, the visit also provided an opportunity between the two parties to discuss some matters regarding the management of student activities. BHEP Serdang led by Encik Nuruliman Ibrahim had the opportunity to hold an engagement meeting with BHEP Bintulu Campus. The meeting was chaired by Encik Mohamad Syukri Mohamad Adnan as the officer who manages the student activities here.

Many matters have been discussed and examined such as Student Welfare Management, Club/Association Financial Management, Student Protection Fund, Club/Association Establishment, e-Merit System Operation and so on. In addition, we also had the opportunity to visit the BHEP office to see the atmosphere of their work as well as to manage the affairs of the students here. Very interested in the facilities provided to the students and staff here.

One of the main purposes of this visit is the provision of devices to selected students. The distribution of laptops to B40 students was officiated by the Principal of Kolej Seri Rajang, Dr. Kamil Latif Head of Student Affairs and Alumni UPMKB. A total of 10 recipients of the device consisting of B40 category students from various majors.

Such engagement programmes are very good to continue so that cooperation between the two parties can be connected so that the management of student affairs can be improved in order to produce students who are holistic and ready to become future leaders.
