18 March 2023 - CSR UPMKB @ SK Kelawit : "From University to Community" program was organized by Kolej Sri Rajang Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Sarawak Campus (UPMKB) in collaboration with UPMKB PEMADAM Club and Sekolah Kebangsaan Kelawit, Tatau.

The program was officiated by Dr. Kamil Bin Latif representing YBhg. Prof Dr Shahrul Razid Sarbini, Director of Universiti Putra Malaysia Campus Bintulu Sarawak Campus.

The objective of this CSR program is to create a sense of awareness and social responsibility among UPMKB students to help the local community voluntarily. The collaboration between Sri Rajang College and UPMKB PEMADAM Club in the success of this program is to strengthen the role of students as well as to introduce a meaningful lifestyle to the community by carrying out beneficial activities as well as to prevent the involvement of students to unhealthy symptoms such as drugs.

Among the activities that were successfully carried out were Mural Activities, Painting Road Dividers, Painting Learning Corners, Painting the Takraw Football Court as well as Knowledge Sharing Activities (Parent Talk & "Let's Play and Learn!" Session).

This program aims to shed light and share knowledge on the use and development of science and english in daily life as well as to be friendly with the citizens of SK Kelawit,Tatau.

Hopefully, this noble effort will provide a comfortable and conducive school environment to the local student community. Thank you to the staff of UPMKB & SK Kelawit who are involved for their full cooperation in the success of this CSR program.
