According to Deputy Director of PPP UPMKB Assoc Prof Dr Amy Halimah Rajaee, this course is one of a series of courses planned in 2022 in realising the University for Society (U4S) or IPT for Society@Keluarga Malaysia (UNITY) program through an agricultural technology transfer program that focuses on the progress and well-being of the community.

Fields such as poultry farming are suitable for mothers or retirees as a hobby to fill their free time as well as bring lucrative returns as chicken eggs are a very important commodity for all households, food industry factories as well as various other industries such as cosmetic manufacturing, medicine and chemical industry. All eggs are produced from poultry farms found in our country.

PAC UPMKB would like to express its gratitude to Josephine Jawai Makos, Noor Irawati Ahmad, Renee Sherna (the secretariat), Benedict Miden (photographer) and all parties involved directly or indirectly in the success of this course.

The appreciation is also directed to the Director of UPMKB Campus Prof Dr Shahrul Razid Sarbini for always encouraging and supporting PPP UPMKB to organize such courses with minimal fees to benefit from the areas of expertise owned by academic officers and non-academic officers of UPMKB in order to be expanded to the local community especially and the general public in line with UPM's sacred motto ‘With Knowledge We Serve.’
