OVER 2,000 VISITORS VISIT ANIMAL EXHIBITION

MORE than 2,000 visitors visited the animal exhibition at The BAKSIS Day Program (Putra Bakti @ AnimEX 4.0) with the 'Immersive Face-to-Face' method of learning on 29 October at the Sri Kenyalang Hall of Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Campus (UPMKB) in Bintulu.

The program was organized by students and students of the QKK2101 Credit Co-curriculum Course (Group 1) 2022/2023 Academic Session to create awareness of the care of pets, reptiles, and exotic animals.

“This program can also produce students and students not only active in the academic field but also active in co-curriculum as well as being able to compete with the outside community,” he said in Bintulu recently.

In addition, it is able to showcase various livestock species found in UPMKB and the program has the potential to be a platform for knowledge sharing in the animal husbandry industry and thus marketed in the future to generate the country's economic development.

“'The BAKSIS Day' is also capable as a hope for students and students to improve their soft skills as well as outside community engagement at all ages," he said.

He said it is through knowledge transfer methods, sensory learning, improving language development and improving family bonding.

"Pets develop a sense of responsibility and empathy in a person because animals need care and attention at all times," he explains.

MAccording to him, through this Putra Bakti@ AnimEx 4.0, students can also indirectly learn and learn about the importance of team spirit in achieving success, thinking creatively and innovatively.

At the same time, it adds love towards all kinds of animals as well as fosters awareness in proper care as these animals depend on humans getting food and proper care.

In addition, they can learn various soft skills besides related learning in the program.
