On 26/10/2022, the Bintulu Port Authority received a ‘Lawatan Sambil Belajar’ of Semester 4, Fisheries Diploma students from University Putra Malaysia (Bintulu Campus). A total of 33 students together with 2 lecturers were then taken to the Menara Kidurong Auditorium, LPB and briefed on port operations by Mr. Mohd Yoshikatriezan Abeng, the Operation Manager. The visit to Menara Kidurong ends with a visit to LPB Gallery and Anjung Tinjau.

The visit then continued by visiting the Marine Services Division, Bintulu Port Sdn Bhd (BPSB) to take a closer look at marine operations at the Port. A briefing on marine operations, especially on the pilotage operations was delivered by Capt. Elfian and Capt. Herman to all participants. The tour concludes with a 'port tour,' in which all participants’ board a Tug Boat to explore the port terminal facilities from the sea.
