BINTULU: A total of 23 participants in and out of Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Campus (UPMKB) participated in the Putra Bakti Talk Show Program at Biik Kuliah 7 UPMKB Main Lecture Hall on Sunday.

The guest speakers who conducted the talks on the program were Ali Sabri Saber Ali Khan and Nathuhain Ibrahim.     
                                                                      
A spokesman for the organizers said many of the participants showed the potential to be good hosts in the program.

"The program is not only to build skills and gain knowledge on the hosting of the event but also some other activities," she said here today.

She said the program was also aimed at improving the thinking skills and confidence of the participants in the management of the event. 

"Among the activities that can enhance the skills and confidence is that participants are asked to go on stage to talk about a product provided by the guest speakers. 

Through it is hoped that participants will increase their thinking and cooperation among their group members," she added.
 
At the same time, she said, good emcees are those who have practical skills and soft skills suitable for managing and controlling the course of an event so that it is smooth and lively.

The skills and knowledge in organizing the event are encouraged to be learned as these skills are very useful when managing an event and while working in the future.
