DEAN'S FOREWORD

Assalammualaikum W.B.T.

Welcome to the Faculty of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences’ website. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to fill this space with my welcome remarks. The Faculty of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences (FSPH) is one of the faculties that has been established (together with the Faculty of Humanities, Management and Science and the Institute of Ecosystem Science Borneo) under the re -engineering of UPM Bintulu Sarawak Campus in 2018. FSPH has officially started operating on 1 July 2020 with the support of 3 (three) departments, namely the Department of Crop Science (JST), the Department of Animal Science and Fisheries (JSHP) and the Department of Forestry Science (JSH).

As one of the academic entities in UPM Bintulu Campus, FSPH is always ready to shape students to become graduates who are excel holistically and balanced in all aspects.

Here, the study program offerings are as follows:

• Bachelor of Science in Aquaculture with Honours
• Bachelor of Forestry Science with Honours

FSPH is committed to achieve excellence in teaching, research as well as professional and community services. FSPH in collaboration with JST, JSHP and JSH will continue to mobilize to increase the visibility of the university in general and the faculty to support the achievement of UPM's internationalization objectives.

I hope this website can contribute to all faculty members, officers, students, alumni as well as stakeholders such as external agencies and visitors in getting to know FSPH. Hopefully through this website will be able to help you all access and know the information needed in more detail and clearly.
