Faculty of Agricultural Science and Forestry, Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Sarawak Campus (UPMKB) has successfully organized an agriculture development programme themed ‘Women in Agriculture’ on 19 March 2022 (Saturday) involving housewives around Bintulu. This programme aims to increase the knowledge of housewives in subsistence farming.

The programme is led by Dr Kwan Yee Min and assisted by Diploma in Plantation and Food Management (DPPM) students. Dr Wan Asrina Binti Wan Yahaya and Dr Franklin Ragai Kundat have shared their knowledge in fertilizer management for home gardens and hydroponic cultivation.
