BINTULU: Recently, the Student Affairs Division, Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Sarawak Campus (UPMKB) has received donations from students of the QKK2101 Bakti Siswa Credited Co-Curriculum course (Group 1) session 2020/2021-2 to help friends in need. According to Jose Daniel Ingom son of Johnny, the Director of the Program stated, this contribution was obtained through contributions from outside agencies and private individuals for the organization of Webinar 2021: Love is Healer or Killer? recently.
This contribution was handed over to Prof. Dr Shahrul Razid Sarbini, Campus Director witnessed by Dr Kamil Latif, Head of Student Affairs and Hairunisah Abdul Rahman, Psychology Officer to be handed over to Putra FoodBank UPMKB.
Putra FoodBank is a facility provided by the Student Affairs Division (BHEP), UPMKB as a measure to help students who are less able to get food aid and necessities for free which is open every day (during office hours).
Therefore, for individuals or agencies who are interested in helping these less fortunate students, BHEP, UPMKB welcomes donations in the form of money or necessities such as food, beverages and other personal necessities to be donated to Putra FoodBank. Donations of goods can be sent directly to the Student Affairs Division Office, 1st Floor, Administration Building, Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Sarawak Campus. Contributions in the form of money can be channelled directly to account 8005232086 (CIMB Bank Berhad) in the name of UNIVERSITI PUTRA MALAYSIA BINTULU CAMPUS. It is hoped that such contributions can increase motivation and provide encouragement to underprivileged students to continue to succeed academically.
