BINTULU: The Covid-19 pandemic that hit the world did not stop the Counseling, Welfare and Student Development Section (SKKP), UPMKB to continue holding the Counseling Month celebration for 2020. Prosperous Living, Not Resenting is the theme chosen for this year's celebration which coincides with the objectives of the organization viz. to increase awareness and understanding of mental health in addition to promoting counselling and psychological services among students and staff.

The UPMKB Counseling Month Celebration 2020, assisted by UPMKB Peer Mentors, featured a four-part Counseling Fun Talk with various interesting topics delivered by guest speakers which received quite an encouraging response from students.

Apart from that, to enliven this celebration, a video creation competition and a motivational poster were also organized. The competition was won by Lee Pei Xian (First Place) and Maria Eva ak Barudi (Second Place) for the video creation competition while Jasslyn Lin Xin Ru (First Place), Zayti Nurallya binti Kamizi (Second Place) and Najiah Hasunah binti Khairil Mursyidi (Third place) for the competition to create a motivational poster.

The highlight of the UPMKB 2020 Counseling Month celebration was held through the iTalk Program: #SuccessChallenge in collaboration with the Islamic Center, UPMKB. This program has been implemented through UPMKB's Facebook live broadcast with a special appearance by Pencetus Ummah Haris Ismail or better known as PU Riz is expected to increase the spirit and give awareness to students about the importance of mental well-being and academic achievement balanced with student personality.
