Sri Rajang College, Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Sarawak Campus (UPMKB) has taken an initiative by donating 100 units of bed frames, 100 units of mattresses, and 100 units of cupboards, all of which are (select) used units, to Sg. Selad Bintulu National School as one of UPM’s CSR programmes aimed at the local community.

Dr Aryaty Binti Alwie as principal/head of student affairs, UPMKB has given the contribution to Mr Chapun Dawin who is the principal of the school and the ceremony was witnessed by village head Mr Sunta Anak Timban of Sebauh, Bintulu and PIBG representatives on the 6^th of April 2019.

Contributions like this serve to help schools in dire need of assistance, so beneficiary schools may enjoy similar level amenities that are available to their urban counterparts.
