BINTULU: Recently, the Student Counselling and Welfare Section, Student Affairs Division has organised a Sharing Session Programme to UPMKB students who are being quarantined.
This programme is held to provide a support system to students who are being quarantined at Sri Rajang College, UPMKB. The programme, which was conducted virtually, was attended by more than 80 students and four invited panellists consisted of UPMKB students.
It was hoped that students who followed this programme gained awareness of their own mental health state during the quarantine period and take proactive steps to mitigate the negative effects of social isolation.
Day one: experience sharing session with Hee Yen Voon, UPMKB student with moderator Ms. NurFitriYaani binti Saudi, Trainee Counselor, UPMKB.
Day two: experience sharing session from Peer Mentoring members who are undergoing quarantine themselves, namely Aizat Hilman, Muhammad Amirul Aqif and Mohamad Afnan Irfan with moderator Ms. Syukrina binti Ismail, Trainee Counselor, UPMKB.
