BINTULU: In conjunction with the blessings of Ramadan, 10 members of the UPM Administrator Association (PPUPM) at UPM Bintulu Sarawak Campus visited the children's ward at Bintulu Hospital to hand out reading materials and toys to cheer them up while receiving treatment at the hospital.
Also handed over to all the staff in the ward in conjunction with the Nurses Day to appreciate their services. In addition, the UPM is honored to develop a reading corner that houses various IQ books and games in the daily ward for the children to read books and play to fill their free time.
The objective of the Ramadhan Cheer Program is to encourage the spirit and motivation of children to live better lives and to enhance the spirit of volunteerism within the members of the PPUPM comprising the staff of UPM Bintulu Sarawak Campus.
Hopefully this will benefit all children who receive treatment at Bintulu Hospital. The delegation from UPM was welcomed by the Director and staff of Bintulu Hospital Sarawak. The UPM Bintulu Sarawak Campus welcomed all contributors regardless of contribution in the form of money, books and children's toys.
