PROGRAM PUTRA BAKTI EDU-VOLUNTEER “From University to The Community” PROJEK BERSAMA SEKOLAH KEBANGSAAN BINTULU

BINTULU 30 June - 2 July - The Putra Bakti Edu - Volunteer Programme aims to strengthen english skills creatively, interactively and holistically among school students, university students and teachers. As a proof, this program received a lively response from all students of SK. Bintulu teachers even though initially the program only involved Year 6 students organized by QKK2101 Students Of the Group 101 Second Semester Academic Session 2021/2022 in collaboration with Sekolah Kebangsaan Bintulu.

The Headmaster of Sekolah Kebangsaan Bintulu, Encik Mohamed Khaidir bin Mohamed Arebi said, the PUTRA BAKTI EDU- VOLUNTEER - "From University to The Community" programme is very good as it provides an opportunity for participants to improve their interaction skills in English. In addition, it can expand and increase the network of knowledge to each participant. In addition, participants can practice and practice the knowledge gained in their daily lives.

He added, "programmes such as this are seen to be able to strengthen and enhance the Soft Skills in each member and to produce individuals who are more aware. The ability to think critically and creatively to apply what is learned and increase knowledge in the appropriate field to be more competitive in the job market," he said during the opening ceremony of the PUTRA BAKTI EDU - VOLUNTEER " From University to The Community programme attended by year 4 and year 6 students and teachers of SK. Bintulu.

Among the motivational topics and English language skills shared by the panel of speakers for the students was "Be Smart with Tik Tok and Social Media" presented by Cik Nur Asyikin bt Zaidi for slot 1. For slot 2 was presented by Mrs. Hairunisah Binti Abdul Rahman with the motivational title "How to Handle Stress". For the third slot "How to Back on Track After Procrastination" presented by the panel of Ts. Dr. Suhaili bin Mustafa. For the teacher's slot, Prof. Madya Dr. Mohd Hebrew Shahrimin Bin Adam Assim shared knowledge and tips on "Get Back Your Motivation". All these panel of great speakers are from Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Campus.

The program lasted three days. Apart from motivational activities for students and teachers, cleaning activities of the school area were also carried out. Among the special rooms are Science Lab Room, Counseling Room, Junior Doctor Room and JQAF Room. Besides that, we also help the school teacher of SK. Bintulu to paint and paint the doodle on the walls of the Junior Doctor's Room.

"Through this programme, students of Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Campus (UPMKB) can strengthen their soft skills among students and students. We know that Soft Skills or Generic Skills are an important element that every student and student must master as well as academic achievement. In addition, through the programme, students can learn and develop skills in council management as well as protocols and self-confidence to face the community. Many procedures need to be performed or passed by the students.
