The State Government of Sabah under the Finance Unit through its agency of the Usaha Maju Foundation (Micro-Credit Institution) has appointed Dr. Suraya Hanim Mokhtar to deliver the Business Financial Management Course for Micro-entrepreneurs across Sabah in 2019.

This Financial Management Course is a compulsory course for all new borrowers of the Usaha Maju Foundation. The course was first conducted on July 21-22 in Keningau, August 21-22 in Kota Belud and will be conducted in a few other districts in the state of Sabah until the end of this year.

This course fully utilises the Micro Entrepreneur Business Management Course Module developed by Dr. Suraya Hanim Mokhtar who holds a Ph.D in finance, specializing in Micro Finance (Microfinance).
