STATE GOVERNMENT CONTRIBUTES RM10,000 TO HELP FUND E-STEM PROGRAMME @ UPMKB

BINTULU: The state government has contributed RM10,000 to help fund the E-STEM @ UPMKB Programme in an effort to foster students' awareness and interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) through Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Campus (UPMKB).

The contribution was presented by the Minister in the Chief Minister's Department (Integrity and Ombudsman) cum Jepak State Assemblyman Datuk Talib Zulpilip to UPMKB Campus Director Professor Dr. Bujang Kim Huat.

It was witnessed by UPMKB’s Head of Corporate Strategy and Communication Office cum programme director, Dr. Mohammad Maulana Magiman, Dean (Faculty of Humanities, Management and Science) UPMKB Prof. Dr. Jayum Jawan and Deputy District Education Officer Bintulu Mr. Tero Bayel.

A total of six local primary schools participated in the programme including SK Orang Kaya Mohammad, SK Bintulu, SK Asyakirin, SK Agama Majlis Sarawak Sarawak Bintulu, SK Sungai Tisang and SK Jepak.
