The 1 RAS 1 TREE programme inspired by Denai Sungai Kebangsaan (DSK) was held in conjunction with the World Environment Day 2022 celebration on 19 May 2022 in the Nirwana Forest Reserve, UPMKB. This was a strategic collaboration between UPMKB and the Bintulu Division Department of Environment. UPMKB expressed its highest appreciation to Borneo Agro Resources Sdn. Bhd., PSS Oil Mill Sdn. Bhd and DD Palm Oil Mills Sdn. Bhd who were the sponsors of the programme.

The 1 RAS 1 TREE programme and Denai Sungai Kebangsaan (DSK) are some of the pollution mitigation strategies held jointly with industry players and exercised through nature-based solutions supporting the 100 Million Tree Planting Campaign from the year 2021 to 2025. 250 saplings of the two (2) local species namely Engkabang Jantung (Shorea macrophylla) and Plajau (Pentaspadon motleyi) were successfully planted during the event.
