Congratulations to Prof. Dr Patricia King Jie Hung (Deputy Director of the Institute Of Ecosystem Science Borneo (IEB)), Dr Tunung Robin (Head of the Borneo Ethnic Laboratory), and Dr Latifah Omar (IEB Associate Researcher) on being awarded as personalities and contributing authors in the launch of a two-volume book titled "Sarawak Women in Scholarly Writing" in conjunction with the Women's Day 2022 celebration.

The Women's Day 2022 celebration had been organized by the Department of Sarawak Women & Family on 21 February 2022 at the new Sarawak State Legislative Assembly which conferred awards to 51 Sarawak women personalities who are active in the field of academic writing on Science, Technology and Social Science throughout Sarawak including Sarawakian researchers who are actively doing in research in West Malaysia.

Women's Day Celebration 2022 was officiated by Yang Berhormat Dato Sri Hajah Fatimah Abdullah Minister of Women, Family and Community Development. Meanwhile, the launching ceremony of the book "Sarawak Women in Scholarly Writing" and the presentation of certificates of appreciation to 51 Sarawak women personalities were fulfilled by The Most Felicitous Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Hajjah Raghad Kurdi Taib.
