SUCCESS: Men's Motivation Program: I am Mentally Strong with Che Puan Sarimah Ibrahim, a Celebrity and Mental Health Advocate
BINTULU: A total of 1,848 people have successfully participated in the Psychology@ UPMKB Capsule Program online organized by the Student Affairs Division of Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Campus (UPMKB) recently.
Campus Director Associate Professor Dr Shahrul Razid Sarbini said the Psychology@UPMKB Capsule Program was implemented in conjunction with the 50th Golden Jubilee celebration of UPM and the UPMKB Level Counselling Month celebration.
At the same time, his program advisor Dr Kamil Latif said, the program was organized to raise awareness on mental health through self-care activities, especially for UPMKB students and staff.
The program, which began in mid -September and ended at the end of October, involved 10 series of talks with a variety of interesting topics featuring experienced expert speakers.
Among the talks delivered were 'Men's Motivation: Managing Yourself and Work in the New Norma Era', 'Self-Care: I Love Myself, Create Confidence: Art on your Face!', 'I am Mentally Strong', 'Groom and Boom Your Image 'and so on.
Several competitions were also organized to enliven the program, namely ‘Self-Care Challenge’, ‘Self-Care Fitness Challenge’ and ‘Young Motivator Competition’.
There was also the launch of the e-book 'Formula 8B Manage Stress at University' written by Hairunisah Abdul Rahman, Syukrina Ismail and NurFitriyaani Saudi specifically to give tips to students on related matters and the book can be downloaded at www.btu.upm.edu.my
