DIPLOMA IN FISHERIES
The Diploma in Fisheries is offered to train graduates in fishery production with emphasis in fish breeding, fishing techniques, limnology and oceanography, water and soil quality, fish diseases, aquatic ecology, seamanship and navigation, handling and processing of fish products, and entrepreneurship. Graduates of this programme have career prospects in fishery-related public and private sectors as well as in the fields of research and entrepreneurship. The Diploma in Fishery is a six (6) semester programme with a total of 103 credit hours.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT FOR DIPLOMA IN FISHERIES
University General Requirements Obtained the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) / equivalent with at least FIVE (5) distinctions (Gred C) including Bahasa Melayu and a pass in Sejarah. |

Fulfils the Univesity General Requirements SPM Category A, B & D A minimum of Grade C in the following subjects:
and A minimum of Grade E for English at the SPM level.

Fulfils the Univesity General Requirements SPM category A minimum of Grade C in the following subjects:
and A minimum of Grade E for English at the SPM level. Possessed a certificate in related field from an institution recognized by the UPM Senate. (Category C) A minimum of Grade E for English at the SPM level.
