DIPLOMA IN ANIMAL HEALTH AND HUSBANDRY
Diploma in Animal Health and Husbandry is offered to train sub-professionals graduates with skills in animal health and livestock production with emphasis on animal husbandry, forage and pasture management, animal health and disease management and entrepreneurship. Graduates of this programme have career prospects in livestock related industries in both public and private sectors as well as in the fields of research and entrepreneurship. Diploma in Animal Health and Husbandry is a three (3) year programme with a total of 112 credit hours.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Among the agencies that require the services of Graduate Diploma in Animal Health and Husbandry include the Federal and State Veterinary Services Department, MARDI, Veterinary Research Center, State Economic Development Corporation, Department of Agriculture as well as private agencies such as Guthrie, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Leong Hup as well as commercially controlled livestock farms throughout the country.
ENTRY REQUIREMENT FOR DIPLOMA IN ANIMAL HEALTH AND HUSBANDRY
University General Requirements Obtained the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) / equivalent with at least FIVE (5) distinctions (Gred C) including Bahasa Melayu and a pass in Sejarah. |

Fulfils the University General Requirements SPM Category A, B & D A minimum of Grade C in the following subjects:

and A minimum of Grade E for English at the SPM level.

Fulfils the University General Requirements SPM category A minimum of Grade C in the following subjects:
and A minimum of Grade E for English at the SPM level. Possessed a certificate in related field from an institution recognized by the UPM Senate. (Category C) A minimum of Grade E for English at the SPM level.
