UPMKB TRANSPORTED 320 STUDENTS BACK TO PENINSULAR MALAYSIA

May 7, 2020, Bintulu: Sri Kenyalang Hall, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Bintulu Sarawak Campus began transporting its students to their respective hometowns. The students hailed from several West Malaysia states such as Kelantan, Terengganu, Perlis, Kedah, Pahang, Johor and Penang.

The students had gathered at campus hall as early as 7 a.m. to comply with measures and procedures required to board the same-day flights at 3.20 p.m. and 5.05 p.m. Five campus buses were used to transport the students to Bintulu Airport.

The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences, Prof. Madya Dr. Shahrul Razid Sarbini and Principal of Sri Rajang College / UPMKB Head of Student Affairs, Dr. Kamil Bin Latif oversaw the operation conducted by officers on duty. Most of the students seemed happy and excited to return to their families.
