The Opening Ceremony of the Trees-4-Life Project by Bintulu Resident Jack Aman Luat at Bintulu Public Park, Nyabau Hill. The three-year collaboration project involving Petronas Carigali (SK Gas), UPM Bintulu Campus and BDA. This initiative involves the planting of 3,000 tree species of the ‘Merawan Siput Jantan’ (Hopea Idorata) on 3 hectares of land plots. Around 200 people including staff from Petronas, BDA, UPM Bintulu Campus, Department of Environment (DoE), Natural Resources and Environmental Board (NREB), Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC), Sarawak Forestry Department and Bintulu Resident's Office attended the event.
