Monday, Sept 2, 2019: A Talk on Saving the Ocean was attended by UPMKB students. The invited speaker was Dr. Hadi bin Hamli who delivered lectures on Ocean Ecology while Dr. Tan Toh Hii gave a talk on Marine Biology. A Kahoot Quiz was also held to enliven the programme that evening.

Wednesday, Sept 4, 2019: A follow-up Beach Clean Up Project was organised and it began as early as 8am at Tg. Batu Beach, Bintulu. The programme was participated by 90 UPM Bintulu Campus students from various diploma programmes.

We certainly hope the Save The Ocean Programme can foster awareness among campus members and the communities out there on the importance of our oceans.
