8^TH TIRAK TAEKWONDO INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP 2018

Student Affairs Division of UPMKB has sent a student to represent UPMKB to the 8th Tirak Taekwondo International Championship 2018 which was held at John Paul II Sports Center, University Suvarnabhumi Campus, Bangkok Thailand on October 27, 2018.

Steffano Atom Anak Stephen won the gold medal (Mix Pair Poomsae), gold medal (Team Poomsae) and bronze medal (Individual Poomsae).

Participation in this competition provided exposure and opportunity for UPMKB students to move forward in the field of taekwando sports to a higher level. UPMKB also congratulated and thanked Mr. Pui Jak Joon, chair of Bintulu's Taekwondo Smart Club, who has helped Steffano Atom succeed in this area of ​​interest. Hopefully with the success achieved by this student will be an inspiration to other students to move forward in the field of sports and other co-curriculum.
