On 23 February, Rotary Club of Bintulu organized second phase of tree planting for Bintulu Public Park Restoration project at Jungle Trek of Taman Tumbina in Bintulu. 

 

The event was supported by UPM Bintulu Sarawak Campus and Bintulu Development Authority.  The funding is from CIMB Foundation. 

 

The second phase involve planting 2000 seedlings at public park in order to restore their natural ecological functions and inculcate the importance of environment towards our daily life.  

 

A total of 50 persons including 20 staff and students of UPM Bintulu Sarawak Campus taking part in the planting under raining condition.
